Chitty Chitty Bang Bang

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang first hit the cinema screens in 1968 and has been a family favourite film for many years. It was based on a story by Ian Fleming.The musical production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was first shown in the West End at London Palladium on April 16 2002.

The film stared Dick Van Dyke, Sally Ann Howes, Adrian Hall and Healther Ripley.

In the Musical it stared Michael Ball (Caractacus Potts), Emma Williams (Truly Scrumptious), Carrie Fletecher (Jemima Potts), George Gillies and Harry Smith (Jeremy Potts).













Several cars are in a competition to win theVulgarian Grand Prix.  Chitty is unbeatable and comes 1st!
The British Grand Prix is the next race but Chitty crashes and end up in the scrap-yard owned by a gentleman called Coggins who has two children called Jeremy and Jemima Potts.

He tells his children that he is going to have to sell Chitty, but they make him promise to keep her for a couple of days to see if their father can raise the 40 shillings needed to spring Chitty from her prison.
